LTC Classes

Below are the subjects that will be covered in your License to Carry Course:

  • Laws that relate to weapons & use of deadly force
  • Handgun use & safety
  • Non-Violent dispute resolution
  • Proper storage practices

And you will need to bring the following with you to class.

  • TX Drivers License or Identification Card
  • Handgun of your choice (Rentals available if needed)
  • 50 rounds of ammunition (Available for purchase if needed)

NOTICE: THIS CLASS DOES NOT PROVIDE SHOOTING INSTRUCTION.  YOU MUST BE PROFICIENT WITH A FIREARM PRIOR TO TAKING THIS CLASS.

License to Carry (LTC)
his six hour class is comprised of classroom instruction and proficiency testing. It satisfies all requirements as mandated by the state of Texas for those acquiring their license to carry (LTC). Students will be provided a CHL-100 form upon successful completion of all class requirements. Registration fees will cover appropriate target, eye protection, and hearing protection.
