I acknowledge that I am the natural parent, adoptive parent, or legal guardian (and NOT step-parent) of the minor child (under 21 years of age). I hereby authorize the following listed party or parties, whom I personally know to be 21 years of age or older, to bring the above-referenced child into Top Gun Shooting Range, to shoot various firearms. The adult party has been instructed that they must be with the minor child at all times while the minor child is in the shooting area of the range. I understand and acknowledge that this Authorization form shall be on file with Top Gun Shooting Range. Only the following person(s) is authorized to bring my child shooting.
Range Rules
Firearm Safety is YOUR Responsibility
1. Always keep your firearm pointed in a safe direction and treat all firearms as if they are loaded.
2. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
3. Keep your firearm unloaded until you are ready to use it.
4. Be certain your firearm is in good working order.
5. Know how to safely use the firearm.
6. Use only the correct ammunition for your firearm.
7. Know your target, and what is beyond.
8. Wear eye and hearing protection before entering the range and at all times while on the range.
9. Never use alcohol or drugs before and/or during shooting.
10. All shooters must be over the age of 21 or be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian; or provide a
completed third party minor release waiver.
11. Do not leave firearms unattended in your vehicle.
12. NO ONE is allowed past the shooting stations or down range.
13. REPORT ANY/ALL NEGLIGENT DISCHARGES AT ONCE.
14. No Aluminum or Steel Case Ammunition is permitted at Top Gun Range.
15. No pistol calibers larger than a .45, and no rifle calibers larger than 7.62 x 51 (16in barrel)
16. Shotguns are allowed (12GA, 20GA, 410GA) with buckshot and slugs only.
17. All ammunition must be SAAMI approved Full Metal Jacket or JHP. No tracers, steel core, or incendiary
rounds are permitted as they are a FIRE HAZARD. Violators may be asked to leave the range without a
refund.
18. All down range and abandoned brass casings belong to Top Gun Range.
19. Pregnant women and/or people with O2 tanks are NOT allowed in the shooting range area.
20. Drawing from the holster is NOT permitted, unless you have successfully qualified Top Gun Range's
Drawing from the Holster Qualification.
21. No hand-to-hand transfer of firearms. No lane-to-lane transfers of firearms without a casing the firearm.
22. All NFA (machine-guns, silencers, SBR's) items must be accompanied by the appropriate paperwork. Top
Gun Range reserves the right to check all paperwork and items prior to shooting activities.
23. NO REFUNDS of any kind for parties expelled from the range for safety violation

PARTICIPANT WAIVER AND RELEASE
WHEREAS, in consideration of the use of premises, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the undersigned agrees to the following: The undersigned hereby acknowledges and agrees to have voluntarily applied to use the shooting range, facilities and properties operated by Top Gun Range. It is understood and acknowledged that the use of a shooting range in which others, as well as the undersigned, are engaged in shooting activities involves inherent extreme hazards, dangers, and risks. The undersigned represents that he/she is fully competent to participate in training and shooting activities and that he/she freely, knowingly, and voluntarily assumes the risk of participating in such activities, including the risks of property damage, bodily harm, and death. The undersigned acknowledges and understands the Range Rules attached to this sheet. The undersigned, by his/her signature, certifies that he/she has read these Range Rules, and has made himself/herself familiar with the safety rules of the Shooting Range. As additional consideration for the use of the Shooting Range, the undersigned, for himself/herself and his/her heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors, assigns and for anyone claiming by, through or under the undersigned, hereby forever and completely RELEASES, ACQUITS and FOREVER DISCHARGES Top Gun Range, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and each instructor affiliated with Top Gun Range, and each of them and their respective heirs, executors, administrators, legal representatives, successors and assigns and any one claiming by, through or under such persons, individually and in all capacities (collectively, the "Top Gun Parties"), from and against any and all claims, liabilities, demands, obligations, right, damages, (whether actual, exemplary or punitive, costs, expenses and causes of action of any nature, kind or character, whether tort, contract or statutory, known or unknown, suspected or unsuspected, fixed or contingent, in law or in equity, including claims based on strict liability or the sole, concurrent and/or gross negligence of the Top Gun Parties, or any of them) that the undersigned may now have or that may ever accrue in the future to the undersigned that are based on, relate to, arise from, or are in any way connected with any act, omission, communication, representation, warranty, covenant, agreement or course of conduct of or by the Top Gun Parties. I represent that I have all right, title and interest in and to any picture, text or other content that I submitted to Top Gun Range, or posted on social media (my “Submission”) that allows me to license and convey these rights to Top Gun Range. I acknowledge and agree that any Submission I provide is voluntary, and that I will not be compensated in any way regardless of whether Top Gun Range uses any such Submission for any purpose. I
agree that Top Gun Range may use, modify, post, distribute, publish, re-publish, and copy any Submission, individually or in connection with other Submissions (each in whole or in part and whether modified, distorted, or altered) for any commercial purpose, including without limitation any advertising or promotional purpose in any media whatsoever (including for example in connection with social media web sites such as FaceBook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and the like). Top Gun Range has permission to use any photo/videos tagged with Top Gun, location or with #topgunrange and #topgunhouston. Additionally, I hereby waive any right to inspect and/or approve the advertising or promotional use, or any advertising or promotional materials, that may incorporate any Submission in whole or in part. Any customer firearms in possession of Top Gun Range will be subject to monthly storage fees in the amount of $25.00 per month. Fee assessment begins 30 days after notification firearm is eligible for return to customer. THE WAIVER AND RELEASE SPECIFICALLY WAIVES AND RELEASES ANY AND ALL FUTURE CLAIMS, AND SPECIFICALLY RELEASES PRESENT AND FUTURE CLAIMS BASED ON THE STRICT LIABILITY OR SOLE, CONCURRENT AND/OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE OF THE TOP GUN PARTIES, OR ANY OF THEM. The undersigned acknowledges that he/she can legally possess or rent a firearm and has no criminal or mental background that restricts him/her from such possession under penalty of law and under the penalty of perjury. By signing this instrument, the Undersigned affirms he/she has read, understands and will comply with the requirements as set for herein and do hereby agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Top Gun of Texas, and its officers, directors, owners, partners, agents, brokers, employees, insurers, assigns, and all other related person, entities, affiliates, predecessors, and successors, from any act or omission from which the Undersigned is directly responsible. This instrument binds the Undersigned and his/her executors, administrators, assignees or heirs. The undersigned hereby affirms that he/she has read this Waiver and Release, and assumes any and all risks of entering and using the Shooting Range.
