It is Top Gun Range 's policy to prohibit harassment of any employee by any Supervisor,
employee, customer or vendor on the basis of sex or gender. The purpose of this policy is not to
regulate personal morality within the Company. It is to ensure that at the Company all
employees are free from sexual harassment. While it is not easy to define precisely what types
of conduct could constitute sexual harassment, examples of prohibited behavior include
unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, obscene gestures, displaying sexually
graphic magazines, calendars or posters, sending sexually explicit e-mails, text messages and
other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature, such as uninvited touching of a sexual
nature or sexually related comments. Depending upon the circumstances, improper conduct
also can include sexual joking, vulgar or offensive conversation or jokes, commenting about an
employee's physical appearance, conversation about your own or someone else's sex life, or
teasing or other conduct directed toward a person because of his or her gender which is
sufficiently severe or pervasive to create an unprofessional and hostile working environment.
If you feel that you have been subjected to conduct which violates this policy, you should
immediately report the matter to your Supervisor. If you are unable for any reason to contact
this person, or if you have not received a satisfactory response within five (5) business days
after reporting any incident of what you perceive to be harassment, please contact the HR
Manager. Note: If your Supervisor or the HR Manager is the person toward whom the
complaint is directed, you should contact the President. Every report of perceived harassment
will be fully investigated and corrective action will be taken where appropriate. Violation of this
policy will result in disciplinary action, up to and including discharge. All complaints will be kept
confidential to the extent possible, but confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. In addition, the
Company will not allow any form of retaliation against individuals who report unwelcome
conduct to management or who cooperate in the investigations of such reports in accordance
with this policy. Employees who make complaints in bad faith may be subject to disciplinary
action, up to and including discharge. All employees must cooperate with all investigations.

The policy also provides guidance on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), proper lifting techniques, and when to seek assistance with lifting tasks.
Policy Overview
All employees are expected to perform tasks that may require physical exertion, including the lifting and moving of items weighing up to 40 pounds. Employees are responsible for using proper body mechanics, PPE, and other safety protocols to minimize the risk of injury.
Physical Ability Requirements
Employees at Top Gun Range should be able to:
Lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
Stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods during their shift.
Assist with the movement of merchandise, firearms, ammunition, and other supplies as needed.
Lifting Guidelines
To prevent injury and ensure the safe handling of items, employees must follow these guidelines:
Proper Lifting Techniques:
Bend at the knees, not the waist, to lift items. Keep your back straight and use your leg muscles to raise the load.
Keep the object close to your body to maintain balance and reduce strain on your back.
Avoid twisting your body while lifting. Instead, pivot your feet to change direction.
Team Lifting:
For items that are awkward, bulky, or weigh more than 40 pounds, use the “team lift” method. Ask a coworker for assistance to ensure the load is safely shared between two or more people.
Use of Equipment:
When available, use mechanical aids such as dollies, carts, or hand trucks to transport heavier items.
Employees must ensure that these tools are in good working condition before use.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Employees must use appropriate PPE as required for specific tasks, including but not limited to:
Gloves – When handling items with sharp edges or chemicals, or when lifting items that may cause abrasions.
Safety Glasses – To protect eyes when working in areas where debris or chemicals could cause harm.
Back Support Belts – If provided, employees may use back support belts during heavy lifting to reduce strain.
Reporting Injuries and Hazards
Employees should report any work-related injury immediately to their supervisor, regardless of severity.
If an employee identifies a potential hazard or a task that feels unsafe, it should be reported to management, and corrective action will be taken.
Responsibilities
Employees are responsible for following proper lifting procedures, using PPE, and asking for assistance when needed.
Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that employees are trained on lifting techniques, the use of PPE, and safety protocols, as well as ensuring that proper equipment is available and in good working condition.
Conclusion
Top Gun Range is committed to maintaining a safe work environment. By following this policy, employees will reduce their risk of injury and contribute to a safer, more efficient workplace.
Purpose
At Top Gun Range, safety is our top priority. Due to the nature of our operations, which include live firearms and the handling of lead-based ammunition, employees and visitors are exposed to certain hazards. This policy provides guidelines for minimizing risks and ensuring that proper safety measures are followed, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to reduce the dangers of lead exposure and other potential hazards.
Policy Overview
All employees are required to maintain a high level of safety awareness and adhere to safety protocols to protect themselves and others. This includes the use of appropriate PPE and following established safety procedures when working in and around the range.
Key Hazards at Top Gun Range
Lead Exposure: Lead particles can be released during live fire activities and from handling lead-based ammunition.
Firearm-Related Injuries: Improper handling of firearms can result in accidental discharges or other injuries.
Noise Exposure: Prolonged exposure to high-decibel sounds from gunfire can lead to hearing damage.
General Physical Risks: Moving heavy items, cleaning, and other tasks can present ergonomic and physical hazards.
Lead Exposure Prevention
Due to the serious risks associated with lead exposure, the following precautions are mandatory for all employees working in areas with potential lead contamination:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Respirators: Employees must wear NIOSH-approved respirators in areas with high lead dust levels, particularly during cleaning or maintenance of the range.
Tyvek Suits: To prevent lead particles from contaminating clothing, employees working directly in range maintenance or cleaning areas must wear Tyvek coveralls or equivalent protective suits.
Gloves: Disposable nitrile gloves must be worn when handling lead-based ammunition, cleaning range equipment, or performing tasks that may involve contact with lead residue.
Personal Hygiene:
Employees should wash their hands and face thoroughly with lead-removal wipes or soap and water before eating, drinking, smoking, or leaving the premises.
No food, drinks, or smoking are allowed in active range areas to prevent accidental ingestion of lead particles.
Decontamination:
Employees must remove and dispose of contaminated PPE (e.g., gloves, Tyvek suits) before entering clean areas such as break rooms or offices.
PPE should be stored separately from personal clothing and belongings.
All contaminated clothing must be laundered separately using lead-safe procedures.
Firearm Safety Protocols
To mitigate risks associated with firearm handling:
Firearm Safety Training: All employees must undergo firearm safety training as a condition of employment.
Range Protocols:
All employees must enforce and follow strict firearm handling rules: always keep the firearm pointed in a safe direction, keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire, and always assume the firearm is loaded.
Only authorized personnel may enter the live fire areas during range operations.
Range Clearances: Employees should ensure that the range is cleared and secure before performing any maintenance or cleaning activities.
Hearing and Eye Protection
Hearing Protection:
Employees must wear hearing protection such as earmuffs or earplugs with a sufficient Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) when in proximity to live fire activities.
Eye Protection:
Safety glasses or goggles must be worn at all times in active range areas to protect against ricochets or debris from firearms.
General Safety Procedures
Safety Drills:
Regular safety drills will be conducted to ensure employees are familiar with emergency procedures, including how to handle accidents, firearm malfunctions, and potential exposure to hazardous materials.
Signage and Warnings:
Clear safety signage must be posted in areas where specific hazards, such as lead exposure, are present. Employees must be familiar with and follow all posted warnings.
Range Ventilation:
Employees should ensure that the range’s ventilation systems are operating properly at all times to reduce airborne lead exposure. Regular maintenance of the ventilation system is critical to safety.
Incident Reporting and Response
Incident Reporting:
Any safety incidents, including near-misses, accidents, or hazardous conditions, must be reported immediately to a supervisor.
Emergency Response:
In the event of a lead exposure incident or any other workplace accident, employees should follow the established emergency response procedures and seek medical attention if necessary.
Responsibilities
Employees are responsible for following all safety protocols, wearing appropriate PPE, and maintaining awareness of hazards at all times.
Management is responsible for providing the necessary PPE, ensuring equipment is in good working condition, and offering ongoing safety training to all employees.
Conclusion

It is Top Gun Range 's policy to prohibit intentional and unintentional harassment of any
individual by another person on the basis of any protected classification including, but not
limited to, race, color, national origin, disability, religion, marital status, veteran status, sexual
orientation or age. The purpose of this policy is not to regulate our employees' personal
morality, but to ensure that in the workplace, no one harasses another individual.
Manager. Note: If your Supervisor or the HR Manager is the person toward whom the

confidential to the extent possible, but confidentiality cannot be guaranteed.
Purpose
At Top Gun Range, maintaining a clean and healthy environment is essential for the well-being of both employees and customers. This policy outlines the hygiene standards that all employees must adhere to, with special attention to lead decontamination procedures to reduce the risks of lead exposure associated with firearm use.
Policy Overview
All employees are expected to maintain high standards of personal hygiene. This includes ensuring clean attire, minimizing unpleasant odors, and following specific protocols for washing hands and removing lead particles (deleading) after contact with firearms, ammunition, or range equipment.
General Hygiene Standards
Personal Cleanliness:
Employees must report to work in clean, appropriate clothing that is free of offensive odors.
Daily bathing and the use of deodorant are encouraged to prevent body odor from becoming a distraction in the workplace.
Hair must be clean and, if long, tied back for safety and cleanliness.
Clothing:
Clothing worn in areas where lead exposure occurs (e.g., live fire ranges or ammunition handling areas) must be washed regularly. Lead-contaminated clothing should not be worn outside of work.
Handwashing and Deleading Procedures
Due to the risk of lead exposure, stringent handwashing and deleading procedures are required, especially after handling firearms or ammunition. These protocols are designed to prevent lead ingestion and contamination.
When to Wash Hands: Employees must wash their hands:
Before and after eating or drinking.
After using the restroom.
After handling firearms, ammunition, or spent casings.
Before leaving the range to prevent bringing lead contamination home or to other areas.
After touching shared surfaces in high-risk areas, such as range equipment, workstations, or customer items.
Proper Handwashing Technique:
Use lead-removal soap or hand wipes (provided by Top Gun Range) to effectively remove lead particles. Regular soap alone is not sufficient for lead removal.
Scrub hands thoroughly, paying close attention to under fingernails, the backs of hands, and between fingers for at least 20 seconds.
Rinse thoroughly under clean, running water and dry with disposable paper towels.
Deleading Stations:
Dedicated deleading stations are provided in key areas such as the range exit, break rooms, and restrooms. Employees must use these stations to clean hands and exposed skin after working in areas with lead contamination.
Lead-removal wipes will be available at all deleading stations for quick cleanup when soap and water are not immediately available.
PPE and Contamination Control
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Employees are required to wear appropriate PPE, including gloves, when handling lead-based ammunition, firearms, or working in the range area. Gloves help minimize direct contact with lead particles.
Employees must also wear respirators and Tyvek suits in high-exposure areas, particularly during cleaning or maintenance activities where lead dust may be present.
Changing and Decontamination:
Employees should change out of work clothes and remove PPE before entering clean areas such as break rooms or offices.
Lead-contaminated clothing must be stored separately from personal items, and PPE must be removed in designated areas to prevent cross-contamination.
Nail Care and Jewelry
Nail Care:
Employees must keep nails short and clean, as long nails can harbor lead particles that are difficult to remove.
Jewelry:
To reduce the risk of contamination, employees are encouraged to avoid wearing jewelry (especially rings, watches, or bracelets) while working in lead-exposed areas. Jewelry can trap lead particles, making them harder to remove during handwashing.
No Eating, Drinking, or Smoking in Contaminated Areas
Restricted Areas:
Eating, drinking, smoking, or applying cosmetics is strictly prohibited in areas where lead contamination is possible (e.g., the range floor, ammunition storage areas). These activities can increase the risk of ingesting lead particles.
Designated Break Areas:
Employees must use designated break areas for meals, drinks, and personal activities. Hands must be thoroughly washed before entering these areas.
Laundering and Cleaning of Work Clothes
Lead-Contaminated Clothing:
Clothing worn in high-risk areas must be laundered separately from other garments to prevent cross-contamination.
Employees are encouraged to change into fresh clothes before leaving work to avoid carrying lead particles home.
Employee Responsibilities
Employees are responsible for adhering to all hygiene protocols, including washing hands and deleading after exposure to lead, maintaining clean personal attire, and following the guidelines for eating, drinking, and handling contaminated materials.
Management will ensure that deleading stations are adequately supplied, PPE is available, and employees are properly trained on hygiene and decontamination procedures.
Conclusion
By following these hygiene standards, Top Gun Range is committed to protecting the health and safety of all employees. These protocols, particularly those related to lead exposure, are essential to maintaining a safe work environment and preventing contamination both at work and at home.
