Gun Safety is YOUR First and Foremost Responsibility

  • Always keep guns pointed in a safe direction. Treat all firearms as if they are loaded.
  • Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
  • Keep your gun unloaded until you are ready to use it.
  • Be certain your gun is in good working order.
  • Know how to safely use the gun.
  • Use only the correct ammunition for your gun.
  • Know your target, and what is beyond.
  • Wear eye and hearing protection before entering the range and while on the range.
  • Never use alcohol or drugs before and/or during shooting.
  • All shooters must be over the age of 21 or be accompanied by a parent or a legal guardian at all times or provide a completed third party minor release waiver which is available HERE.
  • Store guns so that they are not accessible to children.
  • NO ONE is allowed past the shooting stations or down range.
  • REPORT ANY/ALL ACCIDENTAL DISCHARGES AT ONCE.
  • No Commercial Reloads. No Aluminum or Steel Case Ammunition.
  • No pistol calibers larger than a 45, and no rifle calibers larger than 7.62 x 39
  • All ammunition must be SAAMI approved Full Metal Jacket or JHP.
  • All down range & abandoned brass belongs to Top Gun of Texas.
  • No pregnant women allowed in the shooting range.
  • No drawing from the holster. Firing from the Ready position only.
  • Do not move guns between lanes.
  • All Class 3 and NFA items must be accompanied by the appropriate paperwork. Top Gun Range reserves the right to check all paperwork and items prior to shooting.
  • NO REFUNDS of any kind for parties expelled from the range for safety violations.
